Consultation - Free
Consultation is the first step towards fixing your problems! Consultation can be done over the phone, by email, or in person, depending on your preference. The goal is to discuss what problems your computer is facing, what we can do to fix it, and answer any questions you may have for us.
In-Home Work - $75/hour
This service covers any work we perform on-site in a home. From new network installations to on-site computer support, it's covered under this charge. 1 hour minimum charge.
In-Office Work - $60/hour
This service covers any and all troubleshooting and repairs on devices taken back to our office to work on. This applies to cases where it just may be more convenient for you to drop off the device with us rather than have us make a house call. Replacement parts and equipment will be additional costs. 1 hour minimum charge.
In-Business Work - $90/hour
This service covers any work we perform on-site for a business. From new network and system installations, to on-call tech support, it’s covered under this charge. 1 hour minimum charge.
Remote Management Services - $465.60/yr
Northwoods Nerds LLC is proud to offer our Remote Management Services. By paying for this yearly service coverage, you get the benefits of premium year-round device support from a remote standpoint. With this service, Northwoods Nerds can remotely push updates and patches to your devices, as well as remotely connect in the case of resolving an issue. By paying for this service, you will also gain the benefits of what is essentially a device tune-up and health check every week, for a year. For the weekly tune-up and device health services alone, it would normally cost you $3,120 a year with us! With this service you get all that, plus premium remote support bundled in with it as well! *Note: if you exceed more than 5 devices it will cost an additional $10 per device
Traveling Flat Rates
Due to the low hourly rate of our services, and our tendency to complete house calls in an hour or less, we have introduced flat rates that apply to farther out job locations to help better justify the travel costs for us. Please note that any job that is 10 miles or further away from our central location in Minocqua is also subject to a vehicle mileage rate of 65 cents per mile. This charge is separate from the flat rates.
